Each year, I host a 1-day Headshot Event at my studio in Morris, IL where I make getting your picture taken quick and easy, perhaps even enjoyable. But this year, my Headshot Event was another casualty of COVID.
Originally planned for April, I had to cancel it. I usually schedule it for the winter since the weather is not a determining factor. Plus, a new headshot is a great way to start the beginning of the year!
When I returned to the studio in June, I knew my Headshot Event was the first thing I needed to plan because it’s always so highly anticipated. And I’m so glad I didn’t hesitate to schedule it because it was *almost* a sold-out event. (I say almost because I only had 2 spots left – Ugh!)
I also did something new this year and gave attendees the option of the type of headshot they wanted: Studio Light or Natural Light. While the majority of the attendees chose studio light, I have to say I’m loving the look of the natural light!
Now, I always receive wonderful feedback from the attendees, but I have to share some sweet words from a friend, Julie Wilkinson, who attended this year’s Headshot Event. “Thanks to Sarah Peterson, a talented and reliable friend who always wants the best for other women – including a great headshot!” Thank you, Julie, these words mean so much to me!
